About

The Caravan Collective channeled camping culture and americana as a means for showing art related to travel and place. The focal point of each pop-up, urban campsite was a 1969 Scotty Serra trailer. As a camper with the Collective, one simultaneously became the audience and the show. As passersby regarded the visual shock of a camper on a main city street, they would deliberate whether or not the scene was something to enter or view.
